Introduction for Swimming pool mosaic

There is most two common types series mosaic for the pool mosaic: ceramic mosaics and glass mosaics.

 

Shape:

Most glass mosaics are mainly square shapes, while ceramic mosaic shapes are more diverse,not only square shape, but also rectangles shape, triangles shape, diamonds shape, penny shape,hexagons shape, lantern shape, leaf shapes,finger shape etc

Ceramic pool mosaic:

Advantages: high-quality porcelain mosaic has stable physical and chemical properties, acid resistance, frost resistance, and the water absorption rate is less than 0.5%, strong pasting function, not easy to fall off for the pool; and it has rich craftsmanship, including the fambe  glaze series, solid color series, ice cracked glaze series and so on.

Disadvantages:the raw material of surface glaze texture is relatively high cost; and it maybe have the color  aberration for different production batches

Both ceramic and glass mosaic can be used in swimming pools, but ceramic mosaics are mostly suitable for large swimming pools such as water parks, hotel pools, villa pools, community pools, and paddling pools.

And Crystal glass mosaics are mostly suitable for small swimming pools such as hotels and villas.

The glaze craftsmanship of ceramic swimming pool mosaics is divided into three main series; solid color glaze, crystallization glazed and ice cracked glaze. Pure-color glazed swimming pool mosaics have a relatively simple process, the glaze material uses less glaze composition and lower cost. However, crystalline glaze and ice cracked glaze use more different glazes material. In order to achieve the surface texture and better color effects, The firing and blending of glazes material is more complicated, so the price is higher than that of pure color glaze, but the effect is much better than that of pure color glaze mosaic.

The characteristics and performance of glazed ceramic swimming pool mosaic tiles:

2. Water absorption below 0.5%;

3. Long-term water soaking resistance, and the modulus of rupture meets the testing requirements;
